Walking the Path of Shiva: A Sankalp for Truth and Compassion

Walking the Path of Shiva: A Sankalp for Truth and Compassion

Life often entangles us in fear, doubt, and confusion. But in the midst of this noise, there is a path – timeless, luminous, and clear. The path of Shiva. To walk it is not to escape the world, but to see it with new eyes, free from the shadows of uncertainty.

This Sankalp (sacred vow) is a reminder, a compass, and a prayer:

The Sankalp

“मम मनः सदैव शिवपथं अनुसरेत्।
जहाँ भय नहीं, जहाँ संदेह नहीं –
केवल सत्य और करुणा की ज्योति हो।”

“May my mind always walk the path of Shiva –
Where there is no fear, no doubt,
Only the radiant light of truth and compassion.”

Reflection

Practice

  • Begin your day by silently repeating this Sankalp after meditation.
  • Whenever fear or doubt arises, pause and recall these words.
  • Let them anchor you, remind you, and re-align your steps.

Over time, the words are no longer something you recite – they become the truth you embody.

Pair this vow with intentional silence to steady the mind.

Closing

LifeFuseOM is not just a space for words, but for living vows. This Sankalp is shared here as an offering, to remind us that walking with Shiva is not about perfection, but persistence. One step at a time, guided by truth and compassion, until the path itself dissolves into light.

When you’re ready, shape that clarity into action: When Spirit Meets Science.

And if illusion returns, revisit Awakening in Illusion.
